Inventory / Warehouse Manager
Continental Labor & Staffing Resources, Leaders in Staffing & Safety since 1993, is currently recruiting for an experienced INVENTORY / WAREHOUSE MANAGER for a company in the Electrical Services field in Porterville, California.
We are looking for a candidate that can manage and oversee the successful shipping and receiving of materials to clients and jobsites using a computer information system. The position will also require excellent Inventory control skills and Management Skills, as they will oversee all of the material handling employees. Of course with all Inventory - type work, a tremendous attention to detail and organization skill is necessary to accomplish the tasks of this position.
Additional duties will include:
Directing annual inventory;
Responsible for maintaining material availability and supply;
Shipping, Receiving, and material packaging;
Negotiate contracts and major purchases at the direction of the owner;
Quality control of received materials;
Manage the purchase order process with vendors and approve invoices for payment.

Requirements
Working knowledge of materials used in the electrical industry;

Safety Advisor for Bakersfield Office

These are Management Level positions responsible for communicating and promoting the value of safety in the workplace to our Employees and our Clients. Duties will include but are not limited to: teaching our weekly Pre-Hire Orientation and Safety Awareness Classes, conducting Safety Audits and Evaluations of our various Job Sites, Incident Response and Management, acting as a liaison with our Medical Providers when needed, and assisting Business Clients with their various Safety needs.
This position requires the ability to work independently in the field with very little supervision but tremendous accountability as this is an extremely important function in our operation. SAFETY ADVISORS are one of the most visible positions within Continental, so we also need individuals with a strong sense of Customer Service and a humble attitude of true service to our clients' needs.
Qualified applicants must possess strong communication skills, knowledge of occupational safety guidelines and hazard recognition, and the ability to follow the Health & Safety Department's Code of Ethics. The right candidate will also possess a valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record as they will be required to drive a company vehicle.

This is a Supervisor level position responsible for communicating and promoting the value of safety in the workplace to our Employees and our Clients. Duties will include but are not limited to: Conducting Safety Audits and Evaluations of our various Job Sites, Incident Response and Management, acting as a liaison with our CLSR HSE Staff when needed, and assisting Business Clients with their various Safety needs.
This position requires the ability to work independently in the field with very little supervision but tremendous accountability as this is an extremely important function in our operation.
Qualified applicant must possess strong communication skills, knowledge of occupational safety guidelines and hazard recognition.
The right candidate will also possess a valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. Safety certificates (range), Passport, Confined Space, MSHA training a PLUS, but not mandatory.
