  Continental Labor & Staffing Resources, Leaders in Staffing and Safety since 1993, has positions available in their Health & Safety department for SAFETY ADVISORS based in their Bakersfield Office.     Continental has 15 years of experience in the Staffing Industry and currently staffs for premier organizations in our service areas.  Our philosophy and success is based on making quality matches between qualified employees and the right position with our clients.  It is also based on our commitment to Safety. These are Management Level positions responsible for communicating and promoting the value of safety in the workplace to our Employees and our Clients.  Duties will include but are not limited to: teaching our weekly Pre-Hire Orientation and Safety Awareness Classes, conducting Safety Audits and Evaluations of our various Job Sites, Incident Response and Management, acting as a liaison with our Medical Providers when needed, and assisting Business Clients with their various Safety needs.    
      
  This position requires the ability to work independently in the field with very little supervision but tremendous accountability as this is an extremely important function in our operation.  SAFETY ADVISORS are one of the most visible positions within Continental, so we also need individuals with a strong sense of Customer Service and a humble attitude of true service to our clients' needs.    
      
  Qualified applicants must possess strong communication skills, knowledge of occupational safety guidelines and hazard recognition, and the ability to follow the Health & Safety Department's Code of Ethics.  The right candidate will also possess a valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record as they will be required to drive a company vehicle.
